About
I am a Professor of History with specialties in early modern British history, and historiography/history of historical writing. My current research is primarily in the latter area, and includes a survey of the history of history globally soon to appear from Cambridge University Press, and a multivolume edited collection on the subject from Oxford University Press. I am also currently serving as myuniversity's principal and vice-chancellor (equivalent of president at other schools).
